Several Hebrew manuscripts produced in Lower Andalusia between 1468 and 1482 share the same type of decoration characterised by marked aniconism, absence of colour, and the use of micrographic patterns of Islamic or Mudéjar influence, in a clear attempt to recuperate the decorative schemes of 13th-century Toledan Hebrew manuscripts.
